About MeMy name is Meghan Rudquist, and I am from Hudson, Wisconsin. I am currently pursuing an Elementary Education Degree with a minor in Catholic Studies at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. I will graduate in the Fall of 2019. I chose Elementary Education because I enjoy working with children and being able to experience the moment when they discover something new. I want to instill a love of learning into children and help them develop a life style of continuous learning. I have a strong desire to help children become the best version of themselves and to show them the beauty and wonders of the world. Every child is unique and has many gifts and talents to share with this world. My desire is to help children discover and form their gifts and talents. It is beautiful to see the excitement and eagerness of children at the elementary stage and my hope is that I can inspire these children to continue learning every moment of their life and to take each step as a chance to grow.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy quality time with my family and friends. They are a very important part of my life and have helped me become who I am today. I also enjoy the outdoors, piano (playing and listening), traveling, being adventurous, and trying new things. I have been overseas twice (once to study abroad with the University of Mary) and still have a strong desire to go back to Europe someday and explore the beauty it holds.
